Buying a nappy line off one sample is how a business ends up with stock nobody reorders. Each Trial Pack holds three packs in one size, 60 to 108 nappies depending on the size, which is enough to run a genuine assessment before ordering cartons. Sizes 1 to 5, covering 3 kg through 17 kg.

What three packs actually lets you test

A single nappy tells you what the material feels like. Three packs tells you how it performs across the things that decide a reorder: fit consistency between one pack and the next, overnight capacity, how the tabs hold after a fit check, and whether the wetness indicator reads clearly under room lighting rather than in a photo.

It also tells you what the packaging does in a storeroom, which nobody thinks about until the stock arrives and two sizes look identical on a shelf.

What is in the Trial Pack

Three packs of one size, in whichever size you choose. It is a one-off purchase with no recurring billing attached and no automatic follow-up order.

Size Weight range Nappies in the Trial Pack Pack artwork
Size 1 3 to 5 kg 108 (3 packs of 36) Quokka and yellow bottlebrush
Size 2 4 to 8 kg 96 (3 packs of 32) Galah and wattle
Size 3 6 to 11 kg 84 (3 packs of 28) Echidna and banksia
Size 4 9 to 14 kg 72 (3 packs of 24) Wombat and gum leaf
Size 5 12 to 17 kg 60 (3 packs of 20) Platypus and pink bottlebrush

The nappies are identical to the ones sold by the carton. There is no trial-specification version of the product, so what the assessment tells you carries straight across to the volume order.

The pack illustrations are by Bendigo artist Kate Smith, painted by hand, with a different pairing on every size. That is what makes sizes tellable apart down a storeroom shelf.

Testing and certification

Dermatest® Skin Sensitive certified. Tested for PFAS, none detected (SGS). Made with no chlorine bleach (SGS verified).

Designed in Bendigo, Victoria, and premium Australian-owned. Manufacturing is offshore, in a factory certified to ISO 9001 with a scope covering baby nappies. The same facility also holds ISO 13485 certification, which describes the factory and not this product: these are baby nappies, not a medical device.

Eczema Association of Australasia partnership

Recognised by EAA for suitability on eczema-prone skin. This is a brand partnership and a suitability assessment, not an independent laboratory test, and it sits separately from the test results above for that reason.

The EAA logo represents a brand partnership and product suitability assessment only, and does not constitute endorsement of any type.

Ordering and delivery

Standard freight is $14.95 Australia-wide and express is $19.95, with freight free over $139. Assessing two sizes at once saves paying freight twice, which is the practical reason to order them together rather than in sequence. We aim to despatch in-stock orders placed before 1pm AEST the same business day, from the East Bendigo warehouse or the Sydney fulfilment centre.

Common questions

Is this the same nappy sold by the carton?

Yes, identical. There is no separate trial specification, so an assessment run on these three packs holds for the volume order.

How many sizes should we assess?

Two adjacent sizes usually answers more than depth in one, because the fit questions that decide a reorder tend to sit at the overlap between bands rather than in the middle of one. For a childcare room, the two sizes bracketing the room's average weight is the practical starting point.

How long does a Trial Pack last?

Roughly two weeks for a single child, depending on size and change frequency. Size 1 at 108 nappies and eight changes a day runs about thirteen days; Size 5 at 60 nappies and four changes a day runs about fifteen. Across several children in a service it will go considerably faster, which is worth allowing for when you plan the assessment window.

Can we set up an account before ordering volume?

Yes, and it is worth doing before the assessment finishes rather than after. Wholesale and account enquiries go through our agents and resellers page, or ring 03 5443 2239. The trade pricing published on that page covers the first aid range, so pricing on this one is quoted on enquiry. Little Puggles is our own brand rather than a line we resell, so continuity of supply on a standing order is ours to commit to.

What if we order the wrong size?

Our returns policy sets the terms. Ring 03 5443 2239 before sending anything back and we will sort the size swap on the same call.

Can you supply the certification documents for a tender?

Some can be released and some carry restrictions from the testing laboratory. Ring 03 5443 2239 or email info@firstaiddistributions.com.au with what the tender asks for and we will confirm what we can provide in writing.

Once the assessment is done, the full size run is at Little Puggles Nappies, by the pack or the carton of six. For children past the tape-nappy stage, the pull-up format is at Little Puggles Nappy Pants.
